Materials & infrastructure

In principle, the association will arrange for the materials and infrastructure needed, according to your wishes and depending on practical feasibility.

The village has a woodshop, traditional printing shop, stone sculptor, lots of small transport machinery, farms, tackle, ordinary tools for road building and forest maintenance.

Wood and stone are available as raw materials from an alpine environment. Materials like iron, mountings, fixtures etc. have to be brought in from elsewhere.

The village has a local museum with a 6x6 meters, empty, well lit room on the ground floor. Hotels and local council manage several rooms of different sizes, partly with seating or projection facilities. The village has a ground school and kindergarten with playing field, a boarding school with several facilities, a gym with a stage (multi purpose building). There is a church with an organ and there are several dormitories. Furthermore, other places like stables, sheds, large garages etc. could concievably be used.

Outdoors, places range form a small village square to the Kulturbrücke (culture bridge) and large meadows, woods and slopes of every inclination. There are scout camps, a former gravel quarry, riverbeds and ravines, some carying water, others dry, lots of cliffs and mountains. Somewhat further away there is a hydro electric dam and several road structures. For more information see here.
